About Us

Many communities in Liberia are badly damaged, coupled with destruction of infrastructure, thus creating unbearable living conditions.
In lieu of this, it has become very difficult for communities to get their basic economic and other services on full-scale operation.
Realizing this and to intervene suitably, the Liberia Community Development Foundation (LCDF) was organized to work along with local communities to empower them become agents of their own economic growth and activities.

Local communities need to be empowered for sustainability. Money that is now going toward food imports should be rechanneled for training, purchase of hoes, plows, and other implements, so as to enable local communities become self-reliant.
